ayre began on the sunshine coast, out of a quiet frustration.
clothes made to be replaced. trends turning over faster than a wardrobe could keep up. carloads to lifeline, landfill, and polyester sitting against the skin all day long.
so we started with the fabric, and built slow, considered pieces around it. natural fibres and nothing else. no seasons chasing seasons. small quality collections, made properly. made to be kept, not consumed.
ayre is built for the woman who buys once and wears forever. she romanticises the ordinary, the linen worn soft with time, the organic cotton set that outlives the trend, the wool that only gets better.
